For BC wine this week, we have some interesting new offerings. Blue Mountain Winery has always been known for their white wines, like this Chardonnay for example. Interestingly, they age half of it in stainless steel and the other half in French oak. This really helps bring out the best aspects of the grape. Le Vieux Pin is still fairly new to our store but is quickly becoming one of our favorites. This red is almost all Syrah with just a hint of Roussanne to round it out. It is more on the subtle side for the grape, with a mild pepper character and a lot of elegant berry notes.
