Named after the BC brewing pioneer John Mitchell, this warming wintry brew from Howe Sound Brewing is bound to help spread the holiday cheer. Notes of sweet biscuit, roast malt and caramel are rounded out by a variety of spices.

Postmark – Mandarina Wheat

If you like your beer light, bright and fruity, then this brew from Postmark Brewing is the one for you. An American style wheat beer made with orange peel and bittered with Mandarina Bavaria, it is literally exploding with citrus flavor. Very refreshing!

Field House – Autumn

Just in time, before winter really hits, we have this beautiful offering from Field House Brewing by the name of “Autumn.” A continuation of the seasonal saison series, it has a base of rye with additions of sage, ginger and quince. This one is bound to satisfy during these shorter and cooler days.

Off The Rail – Olde Winston

Now here is a beer to really sink your teeth into. A smoked porter! Off The Rail Brewing knows how to bring you some comfort through the winter season. It has a mild smoke flavor, along with notes of rich coffee and chocolate and is finished with English Fuggles hops.

Doan’s – German IPA

We are all fans of the variety of IPA’s that Doan’s Craft Brewing Company has done so far. Now they add to that with this single hop German style IPA. The hop of choice this time is Mandarina Bavaria, which is known for its pleasant fruity character. Expect more to come from this series!

Powell – Contradiction

Another cool sour from Powell Brewery! An interesting juxtaposition of dark malts and bright and fruity Hallertau Blanc hops. It all comes together to give you a wonderfully mouth puckering experience.
