We love a good tall can and these two from Evil Twin fit the bill: Citra Sunshine Slacker is a session IPA with huge citrus and tropical notes that should really tie your day together, but that’s just, like, our opinion. Pachamama is a collaboration with Two Roads Brewing, this Peruvian-style porter is full of […]
Treats from 3 of our favourite Portland breweries! Gigantic Brewing’s Lustrous Belgian farmhouse ale is golden and effervescent with a hint of orange peel. Cascade Brewing’s Framblanc is a sour ale aged in oak barrels on white raspberries. Breakside Brewery’s Bellwether is a sour wit aged in gin barrels with lime leaves. We don’t know […]
New goodies from local breweries: Moon Under Water Mosaic Copper Kettle Sour is tart and citrussy and goes down easy, Steel&Oak Baltic Porter is rich and dark with licorice, cocoa and toffee notes.
New Zealand’s 8 Wired teams up with Modern Times for a funky grisette. This farmhouse ale contains wheat and underwent a secondary fermentation with Modern Times’ house brett strain. The addition of New Zealand hops makes it a modern take on a traditional style.
Bread Winner is the latest Twin Sails limited release and we’re feeling all warm and toasty just thinking about it. This IPA was brewed with barley, wheat, oats, rye and spelt so we’re expecting a big and complex malt body. Dry-hopped with Simcoe, Columbus and Centennial for some fruity and dank aromas, this beer is […]
Get over here! Raiden Imperial Saison and Scorpion Imperial Stout are two fatal brews from Washington’s Sound Brewery. Pick one up today and be sure to FINISH IT
This Scottish style-ale from Beau’s All Natural Brewing Company Farm Table Series is a real crowd pleaser. The toasty, caramel character pairs nicely with lamb chops, mild cheeses and even Scottish shortbread.
Our first taste of Beau’s All-Natural Brewing Company year-round gruit series is Bog Water. This gruit ale showcases the bog myrtle, contributing herbal, spicy notes to complement the Belgian yeast and plummy fruitiness.
More fun stuff from Freigeist Bierkultur! Original Pfefferkorner White is a witbier with kampot white pepper, this beer should be nice and fizzy, with citrus notes and a spicy finish. Ehrenfelder is an unfiltered altbier: rich, roasty and with a hint of smokiness.
Another brewery we haven’t seen in far too long, Sweden’s Omnipollo returns to our shelves with this mead made with grapefruit and simcoe hops. Part of their Magic Number series of small-batch brews, this promises to be a unique experience.
