Our November Mount Pleasant neighbourhood spotlight is Cartems Donuts (Main Street location has been open 4 years). Their donuts are made from scratch daily. And they offer vegan and gluten friendly versions, so no one can miss out on an indulgence. On cheat days, with your morning coffee or staff room snacks. Like any baked treat they pair very nicely with craft beer. Cartems is all about creative flavours, for November they’ve released 3 new circular treats. Biscoff-ee, Pumpkin Hazelnut (V/GF opntion) and CranCherry Orange (V option). There are also in store events at the Main St. location: Every other Tuesdays (Nov. 5&19) there is Open Mic Night. November 18th 7:30 – 9:30 there is also Post A Letter and Social Activity Club. So go grab one or a bakers dozen to go or stay in and relax with a coffee. Cheers!
