A traditionally made cider, so you can literally taste where it’s from. That is Twin Island Cidery of Pender Island, a community centered ciderey. They apples from heritage orchards and back yards of Pender, Saturna and Mayne Island. Most recent release from them is Hedgerow at 7%, made with plums and blackberries from farms around Pender island, as well as red & white currants from Burnfoot Farm on Mayne ISland. Hedgerow is an off dry cider with a tart finish,with fuzzy tannins that pours a ruby hue. Grab a bottle and share with those closest to you celebrating all that is summer in this cider.Cheers!
