When we said we got a whole lot of Mikkeller in, we really meant it. Here is some more! These are wild fermented Belgian style strong beers, showcasing the amazing hop variety of Nelson Sauvin, in several scrumptious variations. The first being spontaneously fermented for a wild and unrestrained, yet beautiful flavor. Another is dry hopped for a gorgeously fruity nose that really shows off the aroma of the hops. Lastly there is one aged in Chardonnay barrels. This brings out a lot of complexity and an interesting marriage of flavors. All a very worthwhile. They make a great alternative to popping a bottle of bubbly on New Year’s Eve.
